A U.S. marshal boards a small plane to transfer a government witness to New York. As they cross the Alaskan wilderness, tensions start to rise as not everyone on the flight is who they appear to be.

Yesterday I went to the movie theater and saw a movie called Flight Risk. It stars Mark Wahlberg and Topher Grace (who you might remember from That 70s show). Mark Wahlberg’s character is the villain of the film. He poses as a regular airplane pilot but he is really a hitman hired by the mob. Topher Grace’s character is a former accountant for a mob boss but now he needs to be transferred across the country so he can testify in court against his former boss, maybe expose a little corruption in the criminal justice system as well. Throughout the movie he dropped in a lot of sarcasm, wise cracks and jokes which I enjoyed. Wahlberg was great as a bad guy, he was someone who you loved to hate. It was neat to see him portraying a different type of character than he normally plays in movies.

Needless to say I will probably go see this movie again before it leaves the theater, it was a great film. I highly recommend you go see it or watch it when it hits the streaming services.

That’s all for now, hard to believe January is almost over, 2025 has been great so far. I have some blog posts planned for February so stay tuned! 😀

  1. Looks like an intriguing movie. Does it have a happy ending? I don’t like to watch movies that don’t have happy endings LOL

  2. Flight Risk is an interesting movie. It’s one of the best I’ve watched this year with so much intriguing scenes. If I’m going to rate the movie, it will get 8/10.

    1. @Heatman Very underrated. I was surprised when it left my local theater soon after it came out. I think not a lot of people went to go see it. Maybe it will become more popular once it hits the streaming services. I did want to see it again in the theater before it was gone but I didn’t get a chance to.
