New Year’s Bonfire 🔥

Hello January! 2025 is here! A new year is a fresh start on the calendar, full of hope and potential. Last night I had some people over to celebrate New Year’s Eve. We decided to do a bonfire and watch movies outside. I have an outdoor TV on a cart that is perfect for occasions such as this. We’ve been doing fire pits a few times a month all winter with family and friends but I might only have enough firewood left for one more bonfire. My firewood supply is depleted now but we started out the winter with a truckload. Maybe I’ll get some more? It’s still going to be cold out for another two or three months. Haven’t decided yet. Anyway, back to New Year’s Eve, once midnight rolled around the city went nuts with fireworks. Several professional type fireworks were shot into the sky, it was sight to be seen! I hope everyone has a great 2025, let’s make this year the best year yet!

I went to bed at 10 last night. We never get into new years stuff anymore. But I hope 2025 is good.
@fords8 I’ve done that myself in years past. Some years I feel like celebrating and other years I couldn’t care less.
Where I’m currently living we have no burn days on certain days of the year and firework restrictions on most holidays. So New Year’s is an especially crazy day with fireworks, bonfires and also fire pits. It’s noisy and chaotic but it’s a good time to spend with family and friends. Everyone loves to have a little bit of fun with fire, but moderation is key.
@Zachary Foster I believe we have no burn days too where I am but nobody really enforces it. One of my neighbors is a police officer and he does a firepit on his driveway almost every night. Lol
